This has allowed them to stay just above their local rivals the Orlando Magic in the standings as the Heat sit seventh with a 25-23 record. This has them trailing the crucial sixth seed by 1.5 games which would provide automatic qualification to the NBA postseason. The Heat will have to take to the road here where they will attempt to win their 13th game of the season on their 25th trip. The Heat finally got their shot falling with the three ball in particular leading the team to victory. Miami dropped 13 from beyond the arc on 28 attempts (46.4%), while allowing Sacramento to shoot only 30% from three.
