The Utah Jazz will be at home to welcome the Denver Nuggets when the two teams next take to the court in the NBA. Utah are currently 12th in the Western Conference while Denver are up in second place. The Jazz possess the longest active losing streak in the league as they have lost their last 12 games. This is the third-longest losing run in the franchise’s history. Six more losses and they will set a new franchise record. A positive from this is that they have four more matches to try and break this streak. The disappointing part is that three of the four teams they are set to play are all playoff-bound teams. This was their 49th loss in 78 outings and left them with the eighth-worst record. Utah defeated Denver the last time their visitors were in town. This was during an impressive run of nine wins in 10 outings in January. A second win will see them tie this series at 2-2. Jordan Clarkson, Lauri Markkanen, Kris Dunn, John Collins and Walker Kessler remain sidelined. The Jazz have averaged 108.3 points over their last three matches.

The Nuggets are battling to secure top spot in the West. At the moment they are tied on the same record with leaders Minnesota. Mike Malone’s men, who have compiled a 54-24 record, will battle the Timberwolves next after their trip to Utah. They therefore cannot afford not to win here. Denver have won two of the three matchups with Utah and a third win will see them win this season series 3-1. The Nuggets are coming off a blowout victory over the Hawks that ended 142-110. It was the perfect response to seeing a two-game winning run snapped by the Clippers. Aaron Gordon missed Atlanta’s visit due to a foot injury and is questionable for this game. He is the only major injury concern for the visitors here.
