Şengün also starred again for Ergin Ataman’s side in their second match. The prolific center scored 23 points, plus nine assists and grabbed 12 rebounds to inspire the team to a 92-78 win over 19th-ranked Czech Republic, extending their winning streak to five matches.
Portugal began their 2025 EuroBasket campaign on an impressive note, defeating Czech Republic 62-50. Boston Celtics center Neemias Queta delivered a five-star performance, scoring 23 points and grabbing 18 rebounds to help the team ease to a deserved victory.
