Torino are 11th in the table with four points from their first four league games of the season. It looked as if their season was going to kick off with a home draw with Roma but conceded in the 89th minute to lose the game. They did well to get a point in the next game coming from 2-0 down at Inter to get a 2-2 draw. Their only league win so far came at home to SPAL with a 1-0 home win and again came from behind at Udinese to get a 1-1 draw. They have won three of their last 11 league games, two of them coming at home against SPAL  Five of their last six home games have had under 2.5 goals scored in them with Torino only scoring five goals.

Napoli have won three of their four league games this season and are third in the table three points behind leaders Juventus. They won their first two league games of the season with a late winner at Lazio followed by a home win over Milan, winning 3-2 after trailing 2-0 at one stage. Their unbeaten run ended with a 3-0 loss at Sampdoria but bounced back with a 1-0 home victory over Fiorentina. Midweek saw them draw 0-0 at Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League but face a battle to qualify as they also have to play Liverpool and PSG.  They have only lost four of their last 54 league games and only two of the last 34 on the road. It takes a top team to beat them and Torino don't quite fit into that category. Go for an away win in this match as Napoli continue to push Juventus at the top of the table.
