Tunisia coach Henryk Kasperczak will take the game to Senegal on the second day of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations at the Stade de Franceville, in Franceville Gabon. The Eagles of Carthage are playing in the continental championship for the 19th time, and will be out pursuing their second title in history, having won it in 2004. Senegal, famously known as the Lions of Teranga, will be playing in their 14th AFCON, and hope to walk out with the title for the first time in history. Polish coach Henryk Kasperczak, who is attending his seventh AFCON, has enlisted in his squad 25-year-old midfielder Wahbi Khazri of Sunderland, who although has only just started in six league matches this campaign, has been confirmed fit enough for the Gabon event. Other Europe-based players in Kapsperczak’s squad are defender Aymen Abdennour (Valencia) and Lille midfielder Naim Sliti. However, a vast majority of the players that will be doing duty at the event ply their trade in the northern Africa country’s top tier league-Ligue 1. Senegal boss Aliou Cisse opted for a predominantly Europe-based players. 21 of the 23 players on the Senegalese squad play in Europe. Only goalkeepers Khadim N'Diaye (Horoya AC, Guinea) and Pape Seydou N'Diaye (ASC Niarry Tally, Tunisia) practice their trade in Africa.
