Tottenham are third in the Premier League and looking odds on to reach the last sixteen of the Champions League. Winning a trophy is what they need to do most if they want to keep their top players and the Carabao Cup represents an ideal opportunity for them. They are unbeaten in their last 11 league and cup games and finally got the hang of playing at Wembley with four wins and two draws in their last six games, so bye bye Wembley hoodoo. They will play a weakened team in this game just as they did when beating Barnsley in the last round.  Even so they have a strong squad these days and even with Kane and Eriksen on the subs bench, they still had Alli, Son and Llorente up front. They certainly have a stronger squad than West Ham who continue to struggle and lost 3-0 at home to Brighton and Hove Albion last Friday. They beat Bolton in the previous round leaving out most of their top players and Tottenham should have the upperhand in this game but at least West Ham, who are yet to beat a Premier League side away from home can say they got to Wembley in this competition. Go for a Tottenham win in this match.
