Defending champions Toronto Raptors are already safely into the play-offs.  They take on the Memphis Grizzlies who aren't and need to improve their form if they don't want their season to come to an early end. Toronto are second overall in the Eastern Conference and are looking for a landmark win in this game. Victory over the Grizzlies will be their 50th of a season in which they have a 49-19 record. That has seen them top the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference, three wins clear of the Boston Celtics. They had won three in a row before being beaten by the Celtics on August 7.

Memphis find themselves occupying eighth place in the Western Conference. That's the final play-off qualifying position but they still have work to do to clinch their place. Their season record is 33-37, just ahead of the Portland Trail Blazers (32-39). Qualification had looked to be an easier task but the Grizzlies haven't been enjoying their time in Orlando where these games are taking place. They had lost four in a row before getting a 29 point win over Oklahoma City Thunder. Their last three games are not ones they would have chosen. After this game against the Raptors, they take on Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks. That's the current top three in the Eastern Conference!  Go for Toronto to get the win here.
