TNT Tropang Giga will hope to continue their good scoring form as their blockbuster semi-final clash against Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters in the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup gets underway on Wednesday. TNT got the better of Alaska Aces 104-83 in the quarterfinals, while Phoenix edged past Magnolia Hotshots 89-88 to book a place in the semis. This best-of-five series promises to be enterprising and exciting not the least because of the rivalry between the two super stars Calvin Abueva and Ray Parks Jr.
TNT finished the regular season third in the points tally with a win-loss record of 7-4. That included a 110-91 win over Phoenix and they will look to continue that winning momentum. He did score 31 points when these sides met earlier in the competition, but Calvin Abueva wasn’t playing that match which pulled Phoenix down. Abueva will be expected to shadow Ray Parks Jr. and will add extra power to the offensive charm of the side.
