The South African side are currently 13th in the United Rugby Championship with two wins and four defeats. Only two of their league games have been on home soil with a win over Munster but defeat by second-placed Glasgow Warriors.
Last season saw them finish second in their European Rugby Champions Cup pool. They then hosted holders Stade Rochelais in the last 16 and were narrowly beaten 22-21 by the French side.
RC Toulon will hope to do better than they did last season in this competition when losing all four of their matches. They are fourth in Top 14 this season with seven wins and four defeats. Five of those wins have come on home soil.
On the road only two of their six league games have been won. Their most recent away league match saw them win 22-13 at USA Perpignan. Before that though, they had been beaten in their last three away games, including a 57-5 hammering at Stade Toulousain.
