Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Alexander Zverev Prediction & Betting Tips - United Cup

Stefanos Tsitsipas is up against Alexander Zverev in the men's singles of the Greece v Germany tie. The chances are that the first match will be won by Maria Sakkari against Angelique Kerber. If that is the case then a win for Tsitsipas will take Greece into the semi-finals. It's not been the easiest of tournaments so far for the world number six who is one place ahead of Zverev in the rankings. A back injury caused him to miss his scheduled singles match against Nicolas Jarry when the Greeks took on Chile. He did play in the deciding mixed doubles but lost that in three sets. Tsitsipas returned to singles action against against Canada's Steven Diez and won that in straight sets but didn't play the mixed doubles as Greece had already won the tie. The Greek has won nine of his previous 13 matches against his opponent including three of the last four.

There's a lot at stake in this match and it's not all about the United Cup. Ranking points are available (unlike in the Davis Cup) and a win for Zverev will see him climb above Tsitsipas into sixth place. The German has won both of his singles matches in this tournament. First up he beat Italy's Lorenzo Sonego after losing the first set on a tie-break. Against Adrian Mannarino it was more of the same. The French player won the first set but Zverev battled back to win in three sets. This could go either way and we recommend a bet on over 21.5 games being played.
