Stade Toulousain are the top seeds in the knockout stages of the European Rugby Champions Cup. They host Exeter Chiefs (seeded eighth) in the quarterfinals. For the winner, there's a home tie against fifth seeds Harlequins in the last four. Stade Toulousain finished top of Pool B and won all four of their matches. Wins came against Cardiff, Ulster, Bath and their semifinal opponents, Harlequins. They were  in high-scoring form with 178 points scored in those four victories. Two of their wins saw them score over 40 points. That took them into a last 16 tie at home to fellow Top 14 side Racing 92. Again they were in top form and won that match 31-7. Stade Toulousain are second in Top 14 and they've won all ten of their home fixtures. With three more wins at home in this competition, they will prove hard to beat on Sunday.

Exeter Chiefs would be more confident of victory if this was a home fixture for them, In the English Premiership this season they have won six of their seven played on home soil. In this competition they qualified for the knockout stages by finishing second in Pool C. Both of their home games were won and they also got a rare away win in Toulon, though only by a single point. The last 16 saw them beat Bath 21-15 at home. Exeter are sixth in the English Premiership but only two points behind the final play-off position. Three of their last four games have been lost in that league, most recently a 41-5 loss at Sale Sharks. This is even tougher and we tip Stade Toulousain to win and defy a -17 points handicap.
