Pool B could go right down to the last match but this game between South Africa and Scotland will go a long way towards deciding who will be the pool winners. South Africa bounced back from their shock defeat to Japan with a 46-6 win over Samoa earning them a much needed win and a bonus point. That's three they've earned already thanks to the bonus point they earned because of their narrow loss to Japan. That could prove vital in the long run. The win over Samoa will certainly give the Springboks a lot of confidence and that was important after that first game. Scotland top the pool after wins over Japan and the USA, a win over South Africa would win them the group but that's not going to be an easy task against a revitalised South African team. Lock Grant Gilchrist has been ruled out of the rest of the tournament. They struggled at times against the Americans at the weekend and trailed 13-6 at one stage. Scotland certainly can't afford to make as many mistakes against South Africa as they did the USA or the game could soon be out of reach. A South African win looks the most likely result here.
