Jannik Sinner avoided the first-round chaos at Wimbledon with an easy win and will be gunning for the same against Aleksandar Vukic. The two clash in the second round, their third meeting in history, with the winner progressing to face Pedro Martinez or Mariano Navone. We have the prediction for this match below.

Sinner had one of his powerful performances against Luca Nardi in the opening round. In under two hours, he claimed a straight-sets win and will be holding the same ruthlessness against his Australian opponent.

The Italian’s last defeat came in the second round, at Halle, and it was a shocker as he fell to Alexander Bublik.

Vukic by now is aware this is the toughest major for Sinner, and he will want to cause more trouble for the tournament favorite. He is coming from a 3-1 win over Chun-Hsin Tseng in the first round.

Vukic didn’t have a comfortable outing, his energy levels dropping after winning the opening two sets. He lost the third, and though he won the fourth, it came by way of a tiebreaker.

Vukic lasted well over three hours in the match, and this will work against him when facing the top seed. He comes here having lost five of his last 10 matches and dropped sets in six of the 10 outings.
