San Miguel Beermen vs Alaska Aces Prediction & Betting Tips - PBA, Philippine Cup

The PBA Philippines Cup continues as Alaska Aces take on the San Miguel Beermen. There's little between these two teams in the table with the Aces in sixth with a 3-2 record, one place ahead of the Beermen with a 2-2 record. The Aces should come into this game with a great deal of confidence after beating the third placed Rain or Shine Elasto Painters (don't you love the names of the teams in this competiton?). They won that game 89-88 and went into the final quarter of that match trailing by two points. That gave the Aces their third win of this 2020 PBA Cup as they recover from the slow start they made. Both of their first two games were lost but they now bid for a fourth straight win. Another win here will put them in with a good chance of making it into the top four for the play-offs.

The San Miguel Beermen are 2-2 and looking for some consistency. They started this campaign off with a 94-78 win over the Magnolia Hotshots (not so hot, they've lost four of their five games) but then lost their next two. Defeats came against Rain and Shine and top-of-the-table TNT KaTropa. The Beermen then got back into winning ways with a seven-point victory over bottom-of-the-table Terrafirma Dyip, who have lost all of their three games. A play-off place still looks likely with the bottom four in the table having just two wins between them and the Beermen still have to play two of the bottom four.
