The San Antonio Spurs will seek back-to-back home wins when they host the Indiana Pacers next in the NBA. Both teams have had contrasting seasons with the Spurs bottom of the Western Conference while the Pacers are eighth in the East. The Spurs are coming off an exciting 132-118 victory over the OKC Thunder. Their 12th win of the season ended a five-match losing run and Greg Popovich’s men will be eager to build on this. Devin Vassell and Victor Wembanyama both scored 28 points with the latter adding 13 rebounds and seven assists. Wembanyama outshone Thunder’s Chet Holmgren with many considering that match the decider in this season’s Rookie of the Year race. Doug McDermott, signed from the Spurs during the trade window, will miss this game against his former team. A calf injury rules him out while Ben Sheppard and Kendall Brown are listed as ‘Questionable’. The Pacers are averaging 123.3 points a night which is the best scoring record this season.
