Rotherham vs Blackpool Prediction & Betting Tips - League One

Our next midweek match prediction comes from League One and is the final of the midweek set of games as Rotherham United host Blackpool. The Millers have been in good form of late, unbeaten in nine whereas the Tangerines have struggled and remain in the relegation spots at the foot of the table. Will this one go the way of the form book?

Rotherham had started the season poorly but a recent upswing in form has seen them climb the table. They now lie 14th in the table with 24 points from their 18 games. In contrast, Blackpool's form is far more erratic and that is reflected in their lowly league position of 22nd in the table with just 16 points from their 18 league games played so far.

Unbeaten in their last nine in the league, Rotherham's recent league form is solid if unspectacular. They drew 0-0 with Luton away and then also held Reading on the road in a 1-1 draw. They followed that with another 1-1 draw, this time at home to Wycombe. However, their most recent match saw them smash Salford City 7-2 away from home in the Football League Trophy.

Unlike their opponents, Blackpool were in action this weekend and defeated Carlisle 4-1 in the FA Cup to reach the third round. Prior to that though their form had been poor with Ian Evatt's team losing 4-2 at Harrogate in the Football League Trophy, 3-0 at home to Reading in the league and prior to that had drawn 1-1 away with Leyton Orient.
