Roma haven't made the best of starts to their Serie A league season and start the weekend in ninth place with four points from three games. They won their first league game of the season beating Torino 1-0 away with Dzeko getting the winner in the 89th minute. Their first home game ended in a 3-3 draw with Atalanta, they led 1-0 but found themselves 3-1 at half-time. They eventually equalized in the 82nd minute. Roma's unbeaten league record ended when losing 2-1 at Milan  They went a goal down, equalized but then lost to a 95th minute winner!  Home form for Roma has seen only one loss in the last six league games and they beat Chievo 4-1 at home in April.

Their opponents sit at the bottom of Serie A with just one point from their opening three games. The season got off to a poor start with a 3-2 home loss to defending champions Juventus. They led the game 2-1 in the second half but lost the game in the 93rd minute. Worse was to follow as they lost 6-1 away to Fiorentina but at least they stopped conceding goals when drawing 0-0 with Empoli. Last season they finished 13th in the table but only five points above the relegation zone. Away form was poor with 12 league defeats with just one win in the last 16 and 12 defeats. Go for Roma to get the win in this game and be leading at both half and full time.
