Ajax will look to get their Europa League campaign back on track when they visit Latvian side RFS on matchday seven. This match at the Daugava Stadium on Thursday with our prediction of over 2.5 goals.
The hosting RFS is 34th with two points from six matches and is already out of contention to advance to the round of 16 automatically. Ajax, on the other hand, is 11th with ten points and just outside the top eight. RFS were last seen before Christmas in this competition, where they were beaten 2-1 at Maccabi Tel Aviv.
In fact, the Latvians have lost four and drawn twice in this campaign, with defeats coming against FCSB, Eintracht, and PAOK.
Ajax comes into this match after winning 2-0 at Heerenveen in the Dutch Eredivisie, which was their fifth win in six recent competitive games.
