Calm is returning at Rangers after a spate of off-field issues and they will be eyeing further stability this weekend. The Gers will be back at Ibrox, to host Dundee on Saturday in the League Cup quarters. In case you are looking to bet on this match, we have a prediction ready.

The hosts got well on track last weekend with a 1-0 away win at Dundee United. It wasn’t an easy outing by all means but Tom Lawrence’s early goal was enough to calm things following a heavy loss to Celtic.

In their last two matches as hosts at Hampden Park, Rangers thumped Ross County and St. Johnstone, scoring eight goals. That is the treat they’ll want to give their fans on returning to Ibrox.

Dundee aren’t having a really great campaign at this point. They are coming into this fixture without a win in three matches. The most recent of them was a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Ross County in the Premiership.

This cup game will offer the needed distraction but to have a chance against Rangers, they must improve on their defensive performances. In the last six matches, the visitors have not kept a clean sheet, and conceded 10 goals.

On a positive note though, Dundee scored in all but one of their last 10 matches. Tony Docherty’s side will have to be at their best to take on Rangers.
