The Portland Trail Blazers will play host to the Atlanta Hawks at the Moda Center in the NBA on Wednesday night. The hosts are 18-46 and 14th in the Western Conference, while the visitors are 29-35 and tenth in the Eastern Conference. 

The Atlanta Hawks have been in decent shape lately, splitting their last ten matches, but they will be looking to bounce back to winning ways after losing to the Pelicans 116-103 on Sunday night. Bogdan Bogdanovic led the team with 25 points and seven assists, while Dejounte Murray added 23 points and 11 assists. The Hawks are scoring 119.6 PPG, ranking fifth in the NBA and they are shooting 46.4% from the field and 36% from three. They are putting up 3.5 more points per outing than the Blazers typically concede. However, Atlanta have struggled defensively, conceding an average of 121.5 points per game, which is the second-worst record in the league this season. They tend to concede 2.5 more points at home as compared to away games. The Hawks have a growing injury list with Trae Young still out injured, while as many as six players are listed as doubts for this match. 

Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers have been in a slump lately, winning just three of their last ten games. On Monday, they were no match for the formidable Celtics and were beaten comprehensively 121-99. Deandre Ayton put up 22 points and 15 rebounds, while Anfernee Simons added 17 points, four rebounds and three assists. Offensively, Portland rank 28th in the NBA, scoring 108 points per game, which is 14.5 points fewer than the Hawks typically allow. On defense, though, they are performing significantly better, averaging 116.1 points per game, which ranks 17th in the league. The Blazers generally allow 1.1 points more on the road than on their home court. Shaedon Sharpe, Jabari Walker and Robert Williams are out with injuries, while Malcolm Brogdon and Justin Minaya are doubts.
