Peru start the game in eighth place with only Bolivia and Venezuela below them in the group. Yet they are only five points off fifth and that would earn them a play-off place. This isn't quite their last chance but they can't let that gap get any wider. Last week saw them away at bottom of the table Venezuela but they had to come from 2-0 down just to get a point. Only Brazil and Chile have come to Peru and went away with three points so this isn't an easy place to go and get a win. Of their six home games, four have had more than 2.5 goals scored in them. Uruguay are in second place in the group but lost 4-1 at home to Brazil last week despite taking an early lead. Their away form has let them down in this group with just one win and that was at ninth placed Bolivia. Go for over 2.5 goals in this match because it's difficult to trust either side.
