The Miami Heat will be away to the OKC Thunder for the second night of a back-to-back in the NBA. They come to this match sitting sixth in the Eastern Conference while the Thunder are second in the West. OKC got back to winning ways last time out and will hope to have gotten over their recent wobble. Mike Daigneault’s men had lost twice in three outings before a 128-120 victory against the Blazers in Portland. This was their 43rd win of the season and kept them half a game from top spot in the West. They defeated the Heat 128-120 in the reverse match back earlier in the year. Ranked second on offence, the Thunder are averaging 121 points a night. They however have seen their scoring drop off in recent outings and have averaged 116.7 in their last three matches. Jaylin Williams has been listed as ‘Questionable’ for this game.

The Miami Heat had won six in a row against the Thunder before their first matchup of the season. This should act as extra motivation as they seek to get back to winning ways. Erik Spolestra’s men are coming off a 114-108 loss to the Mavericks in Dallas in the first game of a scheduled back-to-back. They had won two in a row before the upset. Miami have been in splendid form since the start of February and have won 11 of 15 games. They have strung up a 35-27 record. Another loss here could see them drop into the play-in places and that isn’t where they’d want to be. Josh Richardson has been ruled out for the season with a shoulder injury while Kevin Love and Tyler Herro are questionable. The Heat have seen their scoring improve in recent outings. They have averaged 117.3 points over their last three matches which is more than six points their season average.
