The OKC Thunder will seek another win as they host the second game of a back-to-back with the Houston Rockets in the NBA. They currently sit second in the Western Conference while the Rockets are down in 12th place. The Thunder won the first match of this back-to-back with Houston 123-110 away from home. They had lost the first meeting of the season and will now seek to go 2-1 up in this series. Mike Daigneault’s men have been in red-hot form in recent weeks and have won their last five games. This streak has seen them tie conference leaders Minnesota who have also compiled a 40-17 record. Trade acquisition Gordon Hayward is still not fit to suit up for his new team and will be sidelined again here. The Thunder are averaging 121.5 points and only two other teams are scoring more.

The Rockets have been one of the poor-performing teams in February and will hope to close out the month with a win. Ime Udoka’s men have won just three of the 11 matches they have played so far in February. After losing to the Thunder earlier in the week, they have now dropped to eight games below .500. Tari Eason has been ruled out for this trip due to a leg injury while Steven Adams is still a long-term absentee. The Rockets, who have managed just five wins in 27 away games, are averaging 111 points when on the road. Another defeat here could see them drop back six games in the race for a play-in spot.
