The Oklahoma City Thunder will seek to get back to winning ways when they host the Denver Nuggets next in the NBA. They currently sit third in the Western Conference, half a game behind second-placed Denver. OKC have lost their last two matches. They are yet to lose three in a row this season. And this coupled with their success in this fixture this season should have them confident of a win here. Mike Daigneault’s men have won two of the three matchups with Denver which have all been away from home. The Thunder, who are 32-15 at present, are coming off a 107-101 home defeat to current conference leaders Minnesota. It is therefore imperative that they do not lose another big home game. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 37 points against the Timberwolves but has been listed as ‘Questionable’ for this game. Chet Holmgren, Tre Mann, and Lu Dort are the other potential absentees for this match. Jalen Williams and Isaiah Joe have been ruled out.

The Denver Nuggets also have one of their leading players dealing with an injury. Nikola Jokic is struggling with lower back pain and is a doubt for this match. If he misses out, it will be a big blow for the in-form Nuggets. Mike Malone’s men have won five of their last six games and are now half a game from top spot in the West. They are currently on a two-game winning run and are coming off a 113-107 victory over the Bucks. This was their 33rd victory in 48 outings. Denver won the last time they were out in Oklahoma. This was back in October and was the first matchup of the season between them. The Nuggets, who are averaging five fewer points than OKC with 115, will continue to be without Julian Strawther and Vlatko Cancar.
