He will hope switching to the surface sees him take full control of his season. Yibing is having a topsy-turvy campaign and comes to this match with a record of 15 wins and 10 losses. His last match saw him eliminated from the French Open in the opening round. Despite his evident uncertainties, Yibing has played two finals this season and won his first tour title with his success in Dallas. He is currently ranked 64th in the live ranking after dropping down 10 places due to losing 90 ranking points.
