Nice will look to make their home advantage count and get closer to the league stage of the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League when they host Benfica Lisbon on Wednesday. This fixture is the first leg of the third qualifying round, and this match at the Allianz Riviera between the hosting Eaglets and the Eagles comes with our prediction of an away win.
The winner of this two-legged tie will move to the playoff round of the competition, while the loser is transferred to the league phase of the UEFA Europa League.
Nice finished fourth in Ligue 1 last year to get a ticket to this round and are looking to book their spot in the group phases of Europe’s top tournament for the first time in 65 years.
