New Zealand and Ireland kick off the June Internationals when they meet at Eden Park in Auckland. The home team will have revenge on their mind after they lost to Ireland in November last year. New Zealand will not be at full strength for this match as at least three players along with their manager have been in isolation due to Covid. They are in a very unfamiliar situation of losing their last two matches and will be looking to bounce back against a strong Irish team. The All Blacks are playing at the venue that they last lost a test match in 1994 and they will be keen on continuing with this remarkable streak at Eden Park. They have never lost a home test match against Ireland although they have lost three of the of the last five matches against them.

Ireland waited over a century before they recorded their first victory over New Zealand but since 2016 they have won three times. This match though will be the acid test for them as all three victories were either at home or at a neutral venue. If Ireland want to record their first ever win on New Zealand soil they will need to bring their game to the level that it was during the Six Nations and the November Internationals.
