The New York Knicks will be at home against the OKC Thunder seeking to get back to winning ways in the NBA. They currently sit fourth in the East standings while the Thunder are second in the West. The Knicks saw a three-match winning run halted last time out as they fell 130-126 in OT away to the Spurs. Their 29th loss of the season, saw them drop right back to fourth. With nine matches left to go, they wouldn’t want to drop any further going into the playoffs. O.G. Anunoby and Julius Randle are still out injured and will not be involved here. Mitchell Robinson has played the last two fixtures after recovering from a three-month injury layoff. He is, however questionable to play here. The Knicks have seen their scoring output improve in recent outings. They have averaged 131.7 points over their last three matches.

The OKC Thunder got back to winning ways last time out by subduing the Suns 128-103 at home. They will want to put up another winning streak and improve their chances for top spot in the West. Mike Daigneault’s men have the same record as conference leaders Minnesota. Having dominated this matchup with the Knicks over the years, OKC will be confident of success. The Thunder have defeated the Knicks 15 times in the last 20 meetings. They won the reverse match back in December 129-120. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has missed the last two games for the Thunder and is questionable for this trip. His absence is a big blow as he is OKC’s leading scorer and is highly favoured to be named MVP at the end of the regular season. The Thunder have averaged 124.3 points over their last three matches.
