The Indiana Pacers will look to maintain their winning record in the NBA when they head to Madison Square Garden to face the New York Knicks on Saturday morning. The New York Knicks will be out for revenge this weekend, as it was this very opponent that sent them packing from the playoffs in dramatic fashion last season.
However, the Knicks are coming into this match off the back of a thumping 132-109 defeat against the Celtics despite Jalen Brunson and Miles McBride putting up 22 points each.
At home last season, New York were 27-14 and had the fifth-best PPG against (108.7) across the entire NBA.
Meanwhile, the Pacers made an impressive start to the 2024-25 regular season, downing the Detroit Pistons 115-109 on the road on Wednesday.
Myles Turner led the charge for Indiana in that match, scoring 20 points, nine rebounds, four assists and four blocks, while Pascal Siakam added 19 points and nine assists.
The visitors posted an away record of 21-20 last season, though they were the highest-scoring team in the league with 121.6 PPG.
