The Pelicans are anchored at the bottom of the Western Conference standings, while the Nets are in 13th place in the Eastern Conference. Here's our match prediction. 

The New Orleans Pelicans have not been at their best this season. In fact, they've performed poorly and are currently the worst team in the West with a 9-33 record. Their performance on the road has been a contributing factor, with just three wins in 15 games.

In their latest match, they faced the Nuggets at home and suffered a 122-116 defeat. That marked their second consecutive defeat. 

The Pelicans are home again and aim to secure a positive outcome. This is the second night of a back-to-back. They have often struggled in such games with no rest, winning just one of their last seven matches.

The Brooklyn Nets have fallen from grace after winning three consecutive matches in late December last year. Since then, they've lost seven of their eight games.

In their latest match, they faced the Mavericks. As expected, the team lost 113-105 on the road. That marked their fourth consecutive defeat. 

The Nets might have lost three straight games on the road, but they come into this clash with an advantage, having enjoyed one night's rest.
