Tallon Griekspoor is the 27th seed at Wimbledon and takes on unseeded Miomir Kecmanovic in round two. For the victor, their third round opponent will be either top seed Jannik Sinner or unseeded Matteo Berrettini.

Griekspoor has never made it past this stage at Wimbledon. He reached round two in 2022 but lost in his first match last year. The Dutchman is 27th in the latest rankings but up a place in the live list, six places below his career-high.

Round one saw him defeat lucky loser Daniel Elahi Galan in straight sets. A win here will see him go into round three of a Grand Slam for the third consecutive event. His best result on grass this year was reaching the last four of the Libema Open, though he was the defending champion.

Miomir Kecmanovic had his only match against Griekspoor in the recent Libema Open. He lost that match in a marathon three-setter with each set going to a tie-break. A side bet on one in this match looks worth making.

Kecmanovic was ranked 52nd in the latest ranking list. Monday saw him beat unseeded Sumit Nagal in four sets. He lost the second set in that match but then only lost seven games in the next two sets. That win has taken him to 47th in the live list.

The Serb reached the third round here in 2022. Last week saw him reach the quarter-finals in Eastbourne with wins over Zhizhen Zhang and Sebastian Baez. This could be close but we go for Griekspoor to get the win.
