Round two of the outdoor hard court Shanghai Masters will see unseeded Miomir Kecmanovic aiming to beat the 13th seed Jakub Mensik. Two previous meetings between these players have both seen 22 games played. Our prediction here is more than 21.5 games.

For the winner, there's a third round match against either 21st seed Francisco Cerundolo or qualifier Roman Safiullin.

Miomir Kecmanovic was 61st in the latest rankings list, that's 45 places adrift of Mensik.

Kecmanovic beat Sho Shimabukuro in round one, losing only six games. That was his first win in a singles tournament since round one of August's Winston Salem Open and that was also against Shimabukuro. Since then he has lost four singles tournament matches.

More than 21.5 games have been played in three of his last four matches.

Jakub Mensik won both of the previous matches played between these two players. One was on this surface.

Mensik has lost two of his last three matches. His most recent loss was to Francisco Cerundolo (who he could meet in round three) in the second round of the China Open last week.
