Milwaukee Bucks vs Indiana Pacers Prediction & Betting Tips - NBA

The Milwaukee Bucks will be at home for game five of their Eastern Conference first-round playoff matchup with the Indiana Pacers. They trail the series 3-1 and defeat here will see them eliminated. The Bucks are looking to save their season. Injuries have rocked the team allowing the Pacers to take full advantage of this matchup. Doc Rivers’ men have been without Giannis Antentokounmpo this postseason. They were dealt another injury blow in game three with Damian Lillard suffering an Achilles injury that kept him out of game four. The two stars are questionable for game five. Milwaukee have however caused the Pacers plenty of problems despite being underhanded with Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez carrying their offensive load. Middleton is averaging 26.3 points in this series while Lopez is putting up 18.5 points. The Bucks won game one 109-94 but were blown out in game two 125-108. They have scored over 100 points in each game with the most recent ending 126-113. Milwaukee haven’t lost four postseason matches in a row since the 2018/19 conference final against the Raptors.

The Pacers are one win away from winning their first playoff matchup in 10 years. Not since making the conference finals in 2014 for the second season in a row have Indiana won a postseason series. They have bounced back excellently since losing game one and have been the best team in this series. Indiana, who are back in the playoffs after a three-year absence, will now seek to win four playoff matches consecutively since 2012. Pascal Siakam and Myles Turner have been instrumental for the Pacers and are the only players averaging over 20 points in the series. Siakam is averaging 25.8 points while Turner is pouring in 24.3. Turner earned a playoff career milestone in game four as he became only the second centre in playoff history to hit seven threes. Bennedict Mathurin was ruled out for the season due to injury and will not be involved here. Two of the last three matches have seen the Pacers shoot over 50% from the field.
