The Denver Nuggets will be away to the Memphis Grizzlies seeking a win to conclude their 2023/24 NBA regular season campaign. They currently sit third in the Western Conference standings while their hosts are down in 13th. Memphis aren’t fighting for anything with this game as they are guaranteed to finish third from bottom in the West. The seventh-worst record in the league also belongs to them. Taylor Jenkins’ team has been blighted by injuries throughout the campaign. He and his players will be pleased that the season has come to an end. The Grizzlies have lost 54 games which is double the matches they have won. They are currently on a four-game skid with the most recent defeat being against the Lakers at home. Memphis fell 123-120 to LA with the loss, their third successive home defeat. A total of 13 players missed the Lakers’ visit. The Grizzlies, who have averaged 101.7 points over their last three matches, will also finish with the worst offensive record.

While the Grizzlies will only be playing for pride, the Nuggets will be in search of the top seed. This is however not in their hands and they will need help from elsewhere. Denver are in a three-way tie for the best record in the West. Mike Malone’s men have compiled a 56-25 record which is the same as OKC in first place and Minnesota in second. The Nuggets missed the chance to consolidate top spot last time out as they fell 121-120 to the Spurs on the road. Only long-term absentee Vlatko Cancar missed the game and is the only one expected to be out here. The Nuggets, who had won three straight before their loss in San Antonio, have won four straight against Memphis. They have averaged 115.7 points over their last three games.
