Aside from Iga Swiatek, Cori Gauff has been the most consistent player at Roland Garros in recent years. The second seed takes on unseeded Marie Bouzkova for a place in the fourth round of this outdoor clay court Grand Slam. Read our match prediction below.

The past four years have seen Gauff reach two quarter-finals, a semi-final and was the 2022 runner-up. 

The 21-year-old is fitth in both the live rankings and WTA Race. So far in this clay court season, Gauff has lost in the final of her last two tournaments. At Roland Garros, Gauff has beaten Olivia Gadecki and Tereza Valentova, both in straight sets.

Marie Bouzkova has won both of her previous matches against Gauff. One was won on clay and the other saw her opponent retire. Bouzkova is up to 44th in the live rankings. The 26-year-old Czech has reached the third round here for the second successive year but only ever gone further at Wimbledon.

Bouzkova is yet to get past the third round of a clay court tournament this year. So far at Roland Garros, wins have come against 30th seed Anna Kalinskaya and unseeded Sonay Kartal, both in straight sets.

We tip Gauff to get the victory and then face either Ekaterina Alexandrova or Veronika Kudermetova in round four.
