League Cup holders Manchester City will continue with their defence on Tuesday when they host Southampton in the round of 16 of the competition. This is one of the matches featuring all – Premier League sides in the competition. In terms of the season’s performance, City have been way better than Southampton; they are second and Southampton 18th in the Premier League.
