A six year wait could be over tomorrow. TNT haven't won the PBA Cup since 2015 but they lead the Magnolia Hotshots 3-1 in the 2021 final. Just one more win from the final three games will see them crowned champions. TNT have been in top form in an event that few of us can remember when it started. A quick look online reveals that was way back in July. TNT won all but one of their 11 matches in the elimination round and have since beaten Barangay Ginebra and San Miguel Beermen to reach this final. They went 2-0 up in this best-of-seven final, before the Hotshots pulled one back earlier this week. TNT were back on form in the fourth match of this final. They beat the Hotshots 106-89. The first quarter ended with both teams on 24 points, but then TNT won the second 33-15. It was tight in the second half but TNT were never in danger of having that big lead taken away from them. Just one more big effort is needed and TNT can do that if Mikey Williams continues his good form. Go for TNT to win this match and lift the trophy.
