The Sacramento Kings will be away to the LA Lakers seeking a third win over them this season. They come to this match as the seventh-best-placed team in the Western Conference while the Lakers are below them in ninth. The Lakers are 1.5 games adrift of the Kings and 2.5 off the automatic playoff places. This is the target for Darvin Ham’s men and a win here will maintain them in the race. LA are also seeking to avoid losing this regular season series after dropping the first two matchups to the Kings. The Lakers got back to winning ways last time out after a 124-114 loss to the Nuggets halted a two-game winning run. They defeated the Thunder 116-104 at home to earn their 34th win of the season and move five games above .500. LA have won seven of their last 10 matches and five of those have come at home. LeBron James has been listed as ‘Questionable’ for this game. Jarred Vanderbilt, Gabe Vincent, Colin Castleton, and Christian Wood remain sidelined. The Lakers are averaging 121.3 points over their last three games which is four points more than their average for the season.

The Sacramento Kings have averaged 118.1 points this season which is the eighth best record. This has however significantly gone down recently. Mike Brown’s men have averaged 109.7 points over their last three matchups. This dip in offence has led to a poor run of results. The Kings have managed just one win in their last four games. They were defeated at home 113-109 last time out by the Bulls, failing to build on an impressive win in Minnesota. Sacramento, who have won 34 games as well, have dropped to a game outside the top six. But as they have dominated this matchup with the Lakers in recent meetings, they will be confident of bouncing back. The Kings have won six of the last seven matchups with their fellow Pacific Division rivals. Sasha Vezenkov remains sidelined and will not be available for this match.
