They arrive for this match sitting ninth in the Western Conference while the Pistons are bottom in the East. The Lakers have won four of their last five games. Darvin Ham’s men got back to winning ways last time out after a home loss to the Nuggets halted a three-game winning run. They produced a dominant 139-122 victory over the Pelicans that took them two games above .500. The Lakers, who have now won 28 games, could unfortunately be without six players here. LeBron James and Anthony Davis have been listed as questionable. Gabe Vincent, Jarred Vanderbilt, Max Christie, and Cam Reddish are all out. LA have won the last six matchups with Detroit.

The Pistons are playing for the second night in a row in LA. They lost 112-106 last time out to the Clippers and saw a two-game winning run come to an end. Isaiah Stewart will continue to be out as he still hasn’t recovered from an ankle injury. Quentin Grimes will have to wait a bit longer for his Pistons debut as he is still out injured. The Pistons last won away to the Lakers in 2017.
