The Memphis Grizzlies will be away to the Los Angeles Clippers seeking to get back to winning ways in the NBA. They are currently 13th in the Western Conference while the Clippers are higher up in fourth place. The Clippers got back to winning ways last time out and ended a two-game skid by defeating Charlotte 113-104 at home. Their 18th win of the season moved them six games above .500. LA, who had won nine in a row before their two-game slip-up, have won 12 of 16 games at home. For the fourth successive game, they could be without Kawhi Leonard who has been sidelined with a hip injury. Leonard is the team’s leading scorer and is averaging 24.4 points.

The Grizzlies saw their four-game winning streak halted last time out and they will be keen to get right back on the horse. Taylor Jenkins’ men were blown out in Denver and lost by 37. How they lost was reminiscent of their early season struggles. And it is no surprise that the loss came with Ja Morant missing due to illness. Morant has galvanized the team since his return from suspension and they won all four games in which he played. He could be back for this one though. Memphis have lost 20 of their 30 fixtures and are five games now from the playoff places. Eight of their total victories however have come with them as the away side which should be a major concern for the Clippers. Brandon Clarke, Luke Kennard, Steven Adams, and Derrick Rose are all out with varying degrees of injuries.
