Alba Berlin will be away to Crvena Zvezda on matchday eight of the EuroLeague. Both teams have had disappointing starts to their European campaigns and sit outside the playoff places. Let’s look at a prediction for this match. 

Crvena Zvezda have lost their last two matches which has worsened their record to 3-4 and left them in 13th in the standings. The Serbian giants, who have suffered two of their losses at home, were defeated last time out in the competition by Panathinaikos. 

Ioannis Sfairopoulos’ men were outgunned 81-77 by the visiting Greek heavyweights. Zvezda are averaging 80.1 points a game but at the same time are allowing 80.7 points to their opponents.

Alba Berlin have also lost successive matches and will be eager to halt this streak before it spirals out of control. The German side has lost its last four matches in Europe. 

Israel Gonzalez’s men were outclassed 86-70 last time out at home by visiting Anadolu Efes. The loss was their sixth in the campaign, leaving them rooted at the bottom of the standings. 

Alba’s struggles have been precipitated by their blunt offence which is ranked bottom. The Capital club is averaging 73.6 points a game and allowing 84.3 points.
