Ireland have had few problems in the world cup so far and face their toughest game to date as they take on Italy. The two sides are familiar foes of course meeting each year in the Six Nations tournament.  Ireland most definitely have the upperhand on their opponents with 19 wins out of their last 20 meetings.  The Irish side have won both their games convincingly, 50-7 against Canada and 44-10 against Romania. The fact they easily beat Canada while Italy only defeated them by five points and trailed for a lot of the game says it all.  Ireland can definitely win this and get a bonus point while beating the -20 handicap.  Italy have just two points from their two games so far and lost to France by 22 points in their opening fixture. They have never qualified for the knock-out stages of the world cup and would need a win and a bonus point to have any chance of making it through to the quarter finals. That simply isn't going to happen and Ireland can rack up another win before their showdown with France.
