We head to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Sunday night for Game 3 of the NBA Eastern Conference final between the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks. The Pacers beat the Knicks at home and lead the series 2-0. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

The Indiana Pacers defied the odds at Madison Square Garden in Game 1, pulling off a stunning comeback and are now in a great position after winning Game 2, 114-109. 

Friday’s victory was slightly more routine, as they went into the final quarter with the scores level and were led to victory by Pascal Siakam’s 39-point effort, five rebounds and three assists. 

All five Pacers’ starters ended in double digits, while their bench players again made a solid contribution with 21 points and eight assists combined. 

Meanwhile, after their stunning collapse in Game 1, alarm bells began ringing for the New York Knicks, and now at 2-0 down, this is probably a must-win if they are to get back in the series.

Jalen Brunson was excellent on Friday, putting up 36 points and 11 assists, but the Knicks' depth proved to be an issue again, with their bench only contributing 11 points all game.

New York’s defence has been their greatest downfall in this series, as they’ve allowed Indiana to shoot 40%+ from beyond the arc, which is something they have to address if they are to make a series of it.
