The regular NBA season is coming to a close with the play-offs beginning next week. Houston Rockets come into this game against Philadelphia 76ers having already qualified for the play-offs and winning the southwest division of the Western Conference. They have a 44-27 season record  and are fifth overall in their conference. Form since the season resumed has seen the Rockets win four and lose three of their games played in Orlando. Their most recent game saw them lose by four points to Indiana, despite a contribution of 45 points from James Harden. That was the third time he's scored over 30 points since the season started again.

Philadelphia 76ers will also be in the play-offs and are sixth in the Eastern Conference. They will be taking on the Boston Celtics in the first round of the play-offs and will do well to beat them in a best-of-seven series. The 76ers have a season record of 42-30 and are third in the Atlantic division behind the Toronto Raptors and play-off opponents Boston Celtics. Their success this season has mainly been achieved on their home court and in Orlando, they have won three and lost four of their seven matches with the last three all lost. They are without key players at present, not great news with the play-offs on their way. The Rockets look in the better form, especially with Harden scoring highly, go for them to win this match.
