The reeling Utah Jazz will be away to the Golden State Warriors next in the NBA seeking to snap their current losing streak. They arrive for this game sitting 12th in the West standings, 13 games adrift of the 10th-placed Warriors. The Warriors have one foot already in the play-in. They will now seek to confirm their participation in the playoff preliminaries with a win here. Steve Kerr’s men have compiled a 42-35 record and are four games clear of their closest challengers for 10th place. They have five more regular season matches to play. Golden State saw a six-match winning run snapped last time out by the Mavericks. The Mavs, who had just days earlier lost to the Warriors, avenged that loss and won 108-106 at home. Stephen Curry played in the game and led his team with 28 points. He will however not be available here as he has been accorded rest. Dario Saric will also not be available. Jonathan Kuminga, Andrew Wiggins and Gary Peyton II are questionable. The Warriors, who have won both matchups with the Jazz this season, have averaged 114.3 points over their last three games.

With the Raptors winning earlier in the week, the Jazz officially now possess the longest active losing streak in the league. Will Hardy’s men have dropped 11 straight games and are now just seven games from their franchise record. This however will not be broken this year as they have five more matches left to play. Nonetheless, they will seek to end this unwanted run sooner rather than later. Utah, who are out of playoff contention, suffered a humbling 131-102 loss to the Clippers in LA last time out. The blowout loss weakened their record to 29-48 which is currently the eighth-worst record in the league. Lauri Markkanen and Jordan Clarkson will continue to be sidelined for the visitors and will not be available here. Walker Kessler and John Collins are also out while Kris Dunn is questionable. Utah have averaged 107 points over their last three games.
