The Golden State Warriors will host the Sacramento Kings next in the NBA looking to secure the season series. They currently sit 12th in the Western Conference and trail seventh-placed Sacramento by 4.5 games. The Warriors resumed their schedule on Thursday and were 134-112 winners over the Hawks. Golden State had had the two games before Atlanta’s visit postponed due to the passing of one of the team’s assistant coaches. The win over the Hawks was only their fourth in 2024 and ended a two-game skid. They remain with a losing record as they have lost 22 of 41 matches. As this is the second game of a back-to-back, the team’s injury report is yet to be revealed. They however were still without Chris Paul, Gary Peyton II, and Moses Moody in their last match.

The Sacramento Kings have lost two of the three matchups with the Warriors this season. They will seek a victory here to split the series at 2-2 for the campaign. Mike Brown’s men are also coming off the back of a victory over the Hawks. A 122-107 home victory over Atlanta ended a four-game skid and they will be eager to not revert to this dip in form. It was their 24th win and moved them to six games above .500. The Kings are 15-13 against fellow Western Conference teams and have won half of their 20 away trips so far. Sasha Vezenkov has been ruled out for this match and is the only absentee for Sacramento. The Kings have the seventh-ranked offence and are averaging 115.1 points when away from home.
