The Golden State Warriors will host the Phoenix Suns seeking their first win over them this NBA season. They come into this match sitting 11th in the Western Conference standings, 5.5 games behind the fifth-placed Suns. The Warriors are playing exceptionally well at the moment and have won five of their last six fixtures. Steve Kerr’s men have won their last three matches with the latest being a 131-109 success away to the Pacers. They have now won 24 matches and are now one win away from getting back to .500. Klay Thompson has been listed as ‘Questionable’ for this match. Chris Paul and Gary Payton II remain long-term absentees and will miss this game. The Warriors are averaging 119.2 points a game which is the sixth-best record. Golden State have lost all three meetings with the Suns this season.

The Phoenix Suns also arrive for this match in fine form. Frank Vogel’s men, who have won five of six games, are on a three-game winning run. They are coming off a 129-115 victory over the Jazz that took their record to 31-21. Phoenix have defeated the Warriors three times already this season and will be out for a regular season sweep here. They were 108-104 the last time they were in San Francisco which was back in October. Phoenix, who have the 12th best-ranked offence in the league, are averaging 117.5 points. Devin Booker is questionable for this trip due to a hip issue while Damon Lee is out. The Suns did a bit of business during the trade deadline and brought in Royce O’Neale from the Nets. He should be expected to suit up for his new team on this trip.
