The Golden State Warriors will be at home to welcome the Memphis Grizzlies for their next NBA fixture. They are currently ninth in the Western Conference standings while the Grizzlies are in 13th place. The Warriors are seeking to get out of the play-in places and every game from here on out counts. They have won 35 of 67 matches and are four games adrift of the automatic playoff places. Steve Kerr’s men have 15 matches left to play in the regular season. They are coming off a 119-112 defeat at home to the Knicks. This was their fifth loss in the last eight games. Steph Curry and Draymond Green both featured in the loss but are questionable for Memphis’ visit. Ranked seventh on offence at the moment, GSW have averaged 113.0 points in their last three games. They defeated the Grizzlies 121-101 the last time they met, which was last month in Memphis.

The Grizzlies had won three in a row against the Warriors before their most recent encounter. They won the first meeting of the season 116-107 at home and a second win will see them claim this series 2-1. They will however have to be at their absolute best to win as they are struggling now. Taylor Jenkins’ men have lost five times in their last six outings. They were defeated 121-111 last time out by the Kings as they began a four-game road trip. Their 46th loss of the campaign left them 13 games from the play-in places. Memphis are yet to be mathematically eliminated from the playoff picture but it is only a matter of time. Injuries have derailed the team. Five players have already been ruled out for this game while another five are questionable. After missing close to two months, Desmond Bane returned earlier this week and has played the last two matches. It is a big boost as the guard is Memphis’ second-leading scorer. He has scored over 20 points in both matches since his return. The Grizzlies are ranked rock bottom on offence and have averaged 107 points in their last three matches.
