Exeter Chiefs are a point clear of Northampton Saints at the top of the Rugby Premiership. They travel to fourth placed Gloucester who are seven points adrift of them. The league leaders have to bounce back from a surprise loss to Sale Sharks (currently third) in their last game. That ended a run of four straight league wins taking them to the top of the table. Away form for Exeter has seen them win their last three scoring 100 points in those matches.

Gloucester are battling to claim the final place that will take them into the play-offs. They are only a point ahead of Bristol so a loss to the side top of the table could see them drop out of the top four. Gloucester have won four league games this season but have lost five. That includes two of the last three and three of the last five, so current form isn't great going into this game.Three of their four home league matches have been won but all against sides currently seventh or below. Exeter won't want to lose two in a row and can get the win here.
