Francisco Cerundolo vs Karen Khachanov Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Miami

Karen Khachanov made it to the last four of the Miami Open last year. He's in the third round of this year's Masters 1000 tournament and the 15th seed faces 20th seeded Francisco Cerundolo. Up for grabs is a fourth round match against either fourth seed Alexander Zverev or 31st seeded Christopher Eubanks. Khachanov was ranked 16th when this outdoor hard court tournament got underway. With all those ranking points to defend from last year's semi-final, he's down to 19th in the live list. The Russian had few problems in his first match with a straight sets win over unseeded Laslo Djere, losing only six games. He's up to 17th in the ATP Live Race and has already won one tournament this year. He won the title in Doha, beating Jakub Mensik in the final.

This is a repeat of last year's Miami Open quarter final and Khachanov won that in straight sets. Cerundolo has lost both of his previous matches against Khachanov and each was played on an outdoor hard court. The Argentinian has a good record in Miami having also reached the last four in 2022. Cerundolo is 22nd in the live rankings but didn't have it all his own way in the second round. He beat unseeded Sebastian Ofner losing the middle set on a tie-break. He recovered well though and only lost one game in the deciding set. Cerundolo has only got past the last 16 of a tournament once this year. That was in a clay court tournament held in Rio. He's only 43rd in the Live ATP Race and we tip Khachanov to win this in straight sets.
